WELCOME TO A&T C.C. WE ARE MEMBERS OF ANTHONY AXFORD BOLTON ASSOCIATION, HORWICH CHURCHES WELFARE LEAGUE AND WIGAN AND DISTRICT JUNIOR LEAGUE.
WE HAVE 3 OPEN AGE TEAMS, UNDER 17, 2 @ UNDER 15, UNDER 13 AND UNDER 11.

NatWest Cricket Force 2008 4th, 5th and 6th April

Over the last 2 years, we have signed on for and done the NatWest Cricket Force weekend. This gets all members, young and old together in helping to get our club a facelift.
This year it is being held over the weekend 4th, 5th and 6th April. Advise what days you can help.
We need paint, brushes, spades and manpower to assist in putting up the nets, sitescreens, painting, tidying up of grounds and maintenance on covers. If anyone has an idea on owt else, email me !!!

NatWest Cricket Force 2008

ANTHONY AXFORD BOLTON & DISTRICT CRICKET ASSOCIATION

The Bolton & District Cricket Association was founded in 1888. It is officialy Lancashire's oldest league and the second oldest in the world !
Our Senior Challenge Cup, THE CROSS CUP, is possibly the oldest trophy in the county that is still being contested on a regular basis.
'The object of the Association is generally to increase the interest in, and the popularity of, the game, and to encourage the bringing out of amateur talent.'
A&T members of the Association since 1935.

A & T CC CHILD PROTECTION POLICY 2007 ONWARDS

We aim to ensure that;

The welfare of the child is paramount.
All children, whatever their age, culture, special needs, gender, language, racial origins and religious beliefs, have the right to protection from abuse.
All suspicions and allegations of abuse will be taken seriously and responded to swiftly and appropriately.
All staff, whether paid or voluntary and working for Astley & Tyldesley CC, have a responsibility to report concerns to the appointed WELFARE OFFICERS (Simon Nicklin/Chris Bullock), Social Services or Police.

GOOD PRACTICES AT A&T CC

Astley & Tyldesley Cricket Club aim to create an enjoyable environment for all juniors who wish to take part in cricket and social activities at the Club.
The Club emphasises that young people have the right to be safe, secure and free from threat.
The Club acknowledges that young people have the right to be treated with respect and for their concerns to be listened to and acted upon.
The Club will ensure that junior members have specific programmes and facilities designated for them, with adequate supervision.
The Club will ensure that the coaches are aware of the CHILD PROTECTION POLICY and that they attend child protection courses and are CRB checked.
All coaches, umpires, junior team managers and others who are responsible for, have significant contact with children will complete CRB forms or SELF DECLARATION FORMS where necessary.
SELF DECLARATION FORMS will be completed by individuals in the Club who have not completed CRB forms. These will be held by the WELFARE OFFICER.
The Club will ensure that any Club members and volunteers working with young people are aware of and apply the ECB policy to CHILD PROTECTION.
The Club has procedures in place to help any young person who requests help and support on a confidential basis, in issues relating to CHILD PROTECTION.

The above named have full discretion on matters which may be brought to his/her attention and will act with total confidentiality on issues which are extremely sensitive to any persons involved.

THE OFFICERS WILL;
------------------
Be open to easy contact by any person who has reasonable suspicion that abuse is taking place or is likely to take place.
Carry out vetting procedures for all adults, parents and members who are involved in Club activities, whether coaching, managing or helping with transport arrangements, that brings them into contact with young members.
Liaise with COUNTY WELFARE OFFICER MR. DAVID LEES 0161 339 0937/07940 587963.
This Club has a disciplinary procedure within it's constitution that gives OFFICERS/COMMITTEE the power to suspend, exclude and expel members.

LETS ALL WORK TOGETHER TO ENSURE OUR CHILDREN DO NOT SUFFER NEEDLESSLY.
